TOUR RESERVATION
The Royal Government of Bhutan sets international tourist tariff in Bhutan, which is on an all inclusive package basis. Tariff includes royalty, hotel accommodation on twin sharing basis, all meals, sightseeing with English speaking & DOT certified guide, land transportation as per itinerary, entrance fees in the museums, cultural program (for group above four pax) and for trekkers, trekking equipment viz. sleeping tent, dinning and toilet tents, mattress/thermo rest, trained cooks, assistants, pack and riding ponies. Sleeping bags are however not available in our services.
Price does not include Airfare, Visa fee (US$ 20), airport tax & insurance surcharge of Druk Air , beverages, Mineral Water, travel insurance and air evacuation in cases of emergencies.
Minimum Tourist Tariff: The minimum tariff for tourist visiting in a group of 3 persons or more is as follows
High Season: (March, April, May, Sept., Oct.& Nov.) US$ 200 per person per night
Low Season: (Jan., Feb., June, July, Aug. & Dec.) US$ 165.
Supplement Charge: Individual tourist and group size of less than 3 persons shall be subject to surcharge, in addition to the minimum daily tariff, as follows.
» Single Individual US$ 40 per night
» Group of 2 persons US$ 30 per person per night
Discount of Tourist Tariff: The following are subject to approval from the Department of Tourism.
» Diplomats from foreign embassies/missions accredited to Bhutan are given 25% discount on the minimum daily tariff.
» Child 5 years and below is free; 6-12 years is 40% off
» Full time students below the age of 25 years is given a 25% discount (evidence required)
» A 50% discount on the minimum daily tariff is given to one person in a group of 11-15 persons.
» A 100% discount is given to one member in a group exceeding 16 persons.
» A discount of 10% on the daily rates shall be given for halts between 11- to 20 nights and discount on halt beyond 21 days
» For those availing discounts under 'a',' b' & 'c' are not eligible for 'e'.
Aency Commission: 10% of the tour payment is given to the principal agents as commission and can be deducted by these agents at source.
